Reading Orders

Comic book reading orders are basically structured maps through decades of continuity, retcons, relaunches, soft reboots, hard reboots, and the occasional creative decision that seems designed specifically to make future readers suffer.

These guides, which I have personally constructed and continue to curate, lay such things out in a sequence that makes some kind of digestible, human sense. They are not definitive, not sacred. They are just one way to navigate through the mess; built for reading, not completionism, and definitely not for pretending anyone has ever truly understood DC Comics continuity in its entirety.
